Today I’ve been at Zara and got a pair of lovely pink ruffled heels. While I was waiting for a shop assistant to bring me my size I noticed that my shoes were also available in orange and were gorgeous too. Eventually I took the pink ones but I’ve decided to buy orange shoes this season. Such a juicy and bold colour will brighten up every outfit. When I was searching through the web for perfect shoes (I found a nice pair at asos.com) I found some more interesting orange items.

Denim is timeless. It never was out of date (and never will be for sure). I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t own at least one pair of jeans. Today I’ve been searching through my favourites online shops and found some interesting denim pieces. What I liked the most is the playsuit. It will look great and effortlessly with any flat sandals and across body bag or more glamorous with heeled gladiators and gold sparkling jewelry.

Light shades brings to my mind sunny and lazy days of springtime (especially when there’s still cold outside).Pastel colours not only lighten up the look they also make it so relaxed. I always choose some pastels pieces when I want to get this subtle, romantic look or when I’m aiming for cool and fresh style. I try to keep accessories tan as I think they look pretty good with light colours.

Frills are so gorgeous. One ruffle piece make every outfit more feminine. I discovered that ruffles look really good in black which is classic and very stylish colour. Those pretty and girly frills become more elegant and chic when they are black.

I never was a fan of the 80’s so I wasn’t excited when they were back two years ago. After some time I have changed my judgement and found some of 80’s style quite nice and interesting. My opinion about boy fitted jackets is even more positive - I think they are fabulous. Boy fit blazer can be worn with anything - jeans and t-shirt, minidress, ruffled skirt, trainers, heels or boots. Loose fit and rolled-up sleeves give relaxed and casual look. boy fit blazer is one of my key pieces for this spring.

I am truly happy that across the body bags are back. I wanted to buy one a few months ago but shops offered only large shoulder bags or grab clutches (luckily I found one in second hand). I know that large bags are useful because they can hold a lot but I usually need only mobile and wallet to carry with me. Clutches are cute but they keep hands occupied. Across body bags hold all necessary things and keep my hand free. I especially like casual, middle sized, square shaped ones.

One of this season must haves are tassels. Fringes look really fantastic when they whirl and wave as you move. I especially like long fringes ( just like on black studded bag) because they make this effect of swinging more spectacular. Fringes are perfect choice to complete gipsy chic and will look lovely with 70′ style.

I think I am not the only one who would like to replace the whole closet with new clothes for a new season. New collections are so fresh and tempting and suddenly all my clothes seem to be old and dull. Of course I never buy as many clothes as I would like to because I simply can’t afford that. I buy only some key pieces to keep my wardrobe up to date. But I can never resist buying new accessories, which are usually cheaper than clothes so they are not too heavy for my budget. A new scarf or tights make an old jacket or dress look fresh and interesting.

I always dreamed about strapless dress. Bare shoulders look very sexy but (unlike too short mini skirt or too low neckline) never vulgar. Unfortunately (or luckily?) I have full busted figure and I have never found a strapless bra which would give me proper support and basques feel more like armor than lingerie. So I accepted the fact that my shoulders would be always covered. And then last summer I discovered one shoulder dresses and tops. One strap or sleeve is enough to hide two straps of multiway bra (which is much more comfortable and safer than strapless). Of course asymmetric is not the same as strapless but at least one shoulder stays bare. These are some of my favourites asymmetric clothes:

There’s something special in 1950’s. For past few season those years influence todays fashion and it seems that clothes women wore almost 60 years ago still inspire designers. What I like the most from the whole range of 1950’s inspired clothes are knee -lenth full skirts and dresses. A dress with fitted bodice and full skirt plus a pair of heels is the most elegant and feminine outfit I can imagine. I do like flower prints so flower printed dress in style of 1950’s is just perfect.
