Jelly shoes

April 23rd, 2009

When two years ago jelly shoes appeared in stores I thought that wouldn’t  be long lasting trend. Now I can see I was wrong. Jellies are still one of the basic summer style.  Plastic sandals are perfect choice for holiday - don’t take much space in the suitcase and it’s easy to clean them from sand. But jellies are not only beach mode - these are available in a variety of styles and colours to suit any casual outfit.  But most of all jelly shoes look really funny - these look like giant Barbie’s shoes.

Cowl dress

April 7th, 2009

I found really interesting dress at oasis-stores.com. It’s  very simple silk dress in navy blue. What makes the dress so special? It might be worn two ways. Very unique cowl neck may be worn either at the front  or at the back. I prefer the second option - open back look very interesting and give a bit of edge to the look.

Colour blocks

March 25th, 2009

This is one of the hottest trends for this spring. I think colour panels look best accompanied by simple forms. As they are colorful enough it’s te best to wear one color block piece and  keep the rest of the outfit plain. What attracts my attention the most are colour block shoes.  I would wear them with bodycon dress, tunic dress. Leggings and plain vest would look good too.

Sport clothing

March 24th, 2009

Spring has finally come. Days are warmer and warmer.  It’s time to switch boots to sandals, coats for dresses, jumpers for light tops. Yesterday I tidied up my closet and dug out spring and summer clothes from the bottom. I was really surprised when I discovered that most of clothes I wore last summer didn’t fit any more. During cold days I covered my body with layers of warm clothes and I didn’t even noticed I gain some weight. I’ve decided to run or exercise at least three times a week to get back my last summer figure. I’m lazy person so I guess It will be pretty hard for me. I thought that maybe buying new running shoes and gym clothing could give me some  extra motivation. I found a lot of pretty sport clothing. All these things looks really nice. I wish they could make sit-ups for me.

Neutral colours

March 12th, 2009

They may seem colorless, too pale and boring but I think neutrals deserve some more appreciation. Beiges and creams can look very elegant and because they seem to be such a natural colours they create this effortless chic result. As they look good with any other colour they give lots of opportunities. Neutrals look really good with black -  very chick and classic. Worn with any pastels will give fresh and relaxed look. Beiges can also create a great base for bright coloured clothes, shoes, bags and accessories.

I also like nudel heels. They macht the colour of skin which makes them almost invisible. It gives the effect of longer and slimmer legs. And of course they look good with any outfit.

BALLY bag

March 9th, 2009

If I decided to spend a lot of money for a designer piece it would be BALLY Pemba Pouchette  bag. Why do I love it? Not only because it is so beautiful and chic. This bag is a clutch, tote and shoulder bag in one . It can be carried in three ways - fold over, by handles or chain, depending on occasion. This one bag gives three different options so it would be hard to get bored with it easily. It’s very important because if I would spend so much on a bag I’d like to use it for a long time.

Lace up shoes

March 5th, 2009

I felt in love in love with flat lace up shoes. I like them so much because they look very smart but feel comfortable.  I just love beautiful and elegant shoes, especially high heels but my feet prefer trainers. Now I’ve found something to please my feet and myself. I also found beautiful heeled lace-ups at Warehouse, I love them but I am afraid the those heels are to high to be comfortable.

Oscar’s gala

February 24th, 2009

Anne Hathaway hasn’t been awarded but In my opinion she was the queen of the red carpet. I think she was the best dressed woman of the evening. Her shining dress from Armani Prive was beautiful and elegant. She looked glamorous.

Classic and chic black gown from Elie Saab was a perfect choice for the red carpet.  And those fantastic emerald earings. Angelina Jolie looked just marvellous.

Evan Rachel Wood in Elie Saab gown. I love not only the dress but the way actress looks in it- her pale skin correspond perfectly with the ligt shade of the dress.

I do not own any  piece of designer clothing. I like entering designer’s  websites just to watch those pretty things or find some inspiration  All that stuff is just to expensive for me. Besides I don’t like spend too much for clothes because  get bored with them easily  no matter how beautiful or pricey they are.  I prefer to buy a few things from  high street brands instead of one designer piece. Today I discovered it’s a right attitude.

Nine west sandals

February 16th, 2009

I just fell in love with a pair of Nine West sandals. Those colors are exceptional and so eye-catching. Firstly I spotted the flats but soon I discovered there also were similar heels. Both are beautiful but I think I go for flats. I haven’t bought any casual shoes recently and these look so lovely and comfortable, just perfect for summer.
